What you're all forgetting is that Hooky doesn't exactly phone up The Guardian asking if he can talk about Ian yet again, it's they who come knocking asking about it and he just says yes, why not.

Equally for the last thirty years has there been a New Order interview which hasnt included at least one question about Ian Curtis?

This piece has been republished on the Huffington Post site, where a lively debate is droning on between deluded Americans, all of whom feel everyone's pain and wonder why nobody else can understand how they and Ian Curtis feel.

What should have Hooky told the Guardian (presuming they contacted him to write about this)? 'Shut up I don't wanna talk about Ian any more so fuck off?'

The criticisms and the thoughts of 'Oh dear...' and whatever else regarding touring the album is understandable. That is, such opinions are understandable. But I don't really blame any member for the never-ending questions about JD or Ian Curtis from the press.
