Thinking about all the big news this past week, I found it funny that Hooky in a way did New Order's reunion press for them just by being so outspoken about it. The Other Three really have been mute besides their initial statement on the charity gigs. No doubt there'll be a pre-show interview or two, but right now I find Barney and co.'s elusiveness both refreshing and frustrating in the digital age. Maybe it'll be a return to their mystique.

New Order are in danger of marketing A Mystery whose chief selling point is that you don't have to be bothered to unravel it/them. History shows that this is too much of a luxury for New Order, for their own good, to afford. It is most harming. Dave McCullough (Sounds 10/12/83)

Now is the time to start doing interviews!!! Now is the time to release that long overdue second LP; now is the time to shed those elitist fetters that hinder this band so much and start playing concerts for their true followers rather than these trendy 'events'.
