Spare a thought for those of us down here in the sticks...... I still haven't seen the bloody film in the cinema yet, let alone rent it on video.... :(

Well, glad to see ya back Jim, hope you're gonna see it...I drove to Portland (65 miles) to see it last week; not just for that though, as the mighty Mekons were in town.

I enjoyed it that much....I bought the company....sorry, I mean, I watched it twice:lol:

I think I gave it a shitey review after the first time watching it, but I take some of it back:nod:

Coogan's take of Wilson is brilliant, the voice, the actions, but obviously not the looks:evil4: I'm still annoyed there wasn't more of New Order, but I suppose they could only put in so much, with making room for the Mondays.

Excellent performances from the people who played Rob Gretton, Martin Hannett, Ian Curtis & Shaun W Ryder:nod: I'd have to say the guy who played Rob was the best - just like what I've seen of Rob in the various interviews I have. Sorry but I can't remember all their names, suppose it's cos I'm a lazy git and can't be arsed checking:D

The band leaving Steve on the roof while listening to the recording of She's Lost Control was particularly amusing, as was Wilson's scene with the prostitutes and Ryder murdering 3,000 pidgeons and Rob going fer Wilson for splashing out 30 Grand on the famous MDF table! Ryder holding Factory to ransom fer the DAT's was also amusing........I'm trying not to give too much away here:lol:

Gotta give it a  It was more enjoyable than I thought it was gonna be, I take back all the harsh words from my previous review.....well most of em;)

If you havnae seen it, I strongly recommend ye's get aff yer arse and get down to yer local video shop.....you's willnae be disappointed.....well not a lot:thumb:
