Hi guys,can i just ask a pretty simple and obvious question here to lightten up procedures...no more talk of WAR please.
When some of the NOOL'S came round to see my collection,one of them suggested that my copy of TEMPTATION,the 7 inch was in a different cover to the one he had seen.Although only a slight difference i wonder if anyone could throw any light on this subject.The SAID difference on mine was that TEMPTATION was embossed and thus raised slighty.I was told that this is sometimes only written on the cover...the speckled blue/green coloured one.Then again i am coloured blind so not too sure of the colour either.
Any help.Cheers

Mick - my copies sound the same as yours - blue/grey/green specles with 'Temptation' embossed on the cover. I thought that was just the original UK release. Possible that 3rd or 4th pressings were without the embossed lettering, due to financial constraints (getting ready to cope with the Blue Monday cover perhaps...)

The lettering is raised, Mick? On mine it is sunken into the cover, same for the 12", as if stamped from above.
OLD BLUE on closer inspection it is SUNK.:DStamping is the new RAISED.
