Never had seen it before. Filmed in Stockport in 1987?

Perhaps filmed even earlier? Both renditions are incredibly faithful to their LP counterparts.

Barney and his amazing changeling guitar. Its a Fender! now it's a Gibson!

Obviously a few takes edited together videowise, though sounds like a single audio take

Just to clarify, Paradise and BLT were both featured on French programme Les Enfants Du Rock on Antenne 2 along with an interview, this was aired in October 1986.

Statto Shuglet in there with the factoids!! Bernard is looking very pretty in that video. Is it OK for me to admit that I just had a pretty intense wank over this footage?

I wish the camera human had filmed Steve a little more during BLT-- I wanted to see which synth parts were on tape and which were played live.

Steve plays the swirly string parts right before the chorus, the string pads on the chorus, and the orchestra hits.

And nothing is on tape. The programmed parts are running off of the sequencer, being played live by the machine itself, though I am sure you know that. Always loved how NO used electronics live. :)

So all of the really good parts, then. Who does the little chimes during the chorus? (I am a total hick when it comes to synthesizers.)
