Was convinced they'd play Hellbent on the EU dates as it was the one bit of "new" material released this year. Guess not.
Chosen Time is an interesting one but I doubt they'll go near Movement. Bernard - rightly or wrongly - can't stand the LP. DNE would have been good but with such a prominent Hooky presence on that track it's about as likely as them breaking into a Freebass number.

Vanishing Point is my favourite song on my favourite album but I'm not sure he could hit the high note ("I've seen what a man could do") very comfortably these days? Every Second Counts might be a bit more in his register...
Sunrise was always a corker live.

Dream Attack maybe, it lends itself well to Phil doing Gillian's guitar bit freeing her to play the keys live. Also, he could get more use out of that Fender XII he used in BL.

It's also a great song so no reason to ignore it just cause the bass player has left the band. That would be allowing him to have a control even when he's not there.
Plus they could play it without having to cringe at the bass player acting as a parody of himself. First safe time to play it for years in fact.

everythings gone green though its doubtful unless bernard plays the guitar part at the intro and phil plays the outro.

And get rid of Krafty and 1963 too. If something off WFTSC they should play who's Joe or WFTSC, plus EGG and Sunrise or Dream Attack

I've always had a soft spot for Krafty - it's always struck me as being one of the most New Ordery tracks on WFTSC if that makes sense... 1963 is another of my favourites, so I'd like to hear that live... As for something 'new' Face Up might be fun, if only for the fact that it is a great 'venting' track... 
I'd love them to play Sunrise, EGG or Dream Attack too...

That's what makes life and NO so interesting- we're all different! I find Krafty quite bland and prefer more uptempo tracks off WFTSC. As for 1963 - it's my least favourite NO track- but it's all a matter of taste. Face up would be brilliant

I like This Time of Night on Low Life, but never really dug the live versions on youtube, etc. Come to think of it, it's one of their moodiest pieces--maybe that's why. Just never felt it translated that well..

Agreed. Especially if one of the major players was unavailable to rehearse between now and then?
With regards to the title of this thread, I seriously doubt they'll do anything 'new' whatsoever for December 10th, but might add summat to the South American gigs? (Especially given the size of them, and the fact they might be expected to play slightly longer?). It would have to be something the layman knows though, so I'd have thought the likes of Transmission might get a turnout (especially as Bloot already played it?). Doubt they'd resurrect the likes of the Village, TTON, etc, for stadium gigs, and especially for a neutral audience.
Then again, the Brazilian thing is a proper 'dance' festival isn't it, so mark reed's comment above about Out of Control might ring true? Especially considering Bloot already played it. Not sure it's a good thing covering the Chemicals though, but it's certainly in their locker, should they need it. That might be an interesting setlist - only a support slot (I think?) so they might cull some of the 'rockier' stuff and stick to synths only.
The live "Out of Control/Temptation" combo was ace when Bad L played it. I'm pretty sure New Order Now will stay well away from any Sumner side projects though. Shame.
I did put "If we're lucky" in the title which in NO-Land usually means "not happening" Al and JJ are most likely correct that nothing will radically change in the setlist but can't hurt to speculate. Everyone said before Brussels & Paris it was going to be the 2006 set all over again but it wasn't. Granted that was the first gig back after 5 years but I live in hope 
Playing the exact same set in Paris brought us back down to earth a bit but I guess you can't have everything.
Personally speaking I hope they don't play any Barney side project stuff or for that matter any (more) Joy Division. If they're going to go down that road then they may as well go the whole hog and dust off Tasty Fish. Best keep it to songs by the band listed on the poster.
They will surely be playing some other tracks that weren't played at Paris and Brussels. I mean, even in 05/06 they rotated the set a little bit. So it's not out of the question for some other tracks to get an airing. The likes of Your Silent Face and Touched by the Hand of God are more likely considering they've been played recently, but still, there is a bit of a void left over by the Joy Division stuff that's not in the set any more. So it's not so farfetched to maybe hope for one or two oldies to be resurrected.
I believe Elegia opened the Shamberg concerts to set a more somber tone. I don't expect them to continue with that as the segue into Crystal was a little awkward.
It's still inconceivable that Technique is not represented so my vote would go for something (anything!) off that.
i would love to hear them play something from technique - mr disco or vanishing point in particular, but given this is the first time i'm seeing them i'm not really bothered what they play, i'm just glad i will finally get a chance to experience a no gig.
