I have just discovered that NO played only once that song Love Juice in 85 in Auckland, NZ. I would love to hear it but couldn't find a bootleg... Help anyone? :)

Nice tune really although clearly a work-in-progress. Why was it droped? Doesn't sound like any other song NO recorded after 85! I still want a recording of the show though, sort of a

I was at this gig - my first for New Order. They definitely weren't in a 'jovial' mood. This was a huge event for me as I was only 15 and had been collecting boots for a while. Can't believe I missed Love Juice and AOC because I left at the end of the set before the encore because THEY DIDN'T DO BLOODY ENCORES THEN!

It's probably just as well you've only heard this 'song' once live. 
It ain't even a song really, just an impro - something they weren't averse to doing before USA 89 when it all went corporate. In fact I don't think they even 'wrote' it, even the name comes from a bootlegger. Still fun though.

Why on earth I bothered to transcribe this...so nobody else has to I guess...I too think this is a very loose cover of a unidentified song, but it may be an original.
They're obsessed with fish aren't they? Perhaps after this Steve and Gillian hit upon the idea of naming their debut OT single Tasty Fish (though the true story of that one centres around a chippy in Stockport) and their second one Selfish.
