:thumb: :shades: Bernard looks really sunburnt in this video.:uhoh:

and hung over! quite funny though, I just wish they'd all sort it out, to me, NO isn't the same without him swinging his bass running around and making stupid comments between songs, and the light isn't new order at all.

Please tell me you don't need "democracy" explaining :laugh:

New Order-wise - allegedly - each member gets a vote on how the band conducts business and the "person with the most votes win" :nod: It's been mentioned more than once in New Order's 30 year history that they do things this way even when Hook was in the band. A good example of the democratic vote going against Bernard was when they played Top Of The Pops; Bernard wanted to mime but the rest of the band outvoted him and so they played live.

From recent events it seems pretty clear that Bernard, Stephen and Gillian are in agreement for a respective direction for New Order but Peter doesn't want anything to do with it. Three votes outweigh one and so they tour as New Order. Whether you agree or not, it's seems democratic enough to us on the outside.

Really, it's plain from Gillian's body language in this video clip when Peter's allegation that Bernard dislikes playing Joy Division tracks is mentioned, you can see her rolling her eyes. Yet again the notion of the band "breaking up" in '06 is refuted ("he left") they seem pretty unequivocal on that one.

Good interview, otherwise.

Very interesting interview, thanks for that... so Mr. Curtis would have became a writer? That's a new one to me, quite crazy to think about though the more I do the more it makes sense...

bernard's dancing in the blue monday bit is marginally better than my dad's, dignified though.

they are a lot more open about the hooky issue than they have been,i suppose they see that they are in a better position now with the last few bewildering statements from peter.

Great interview...I'm just so glad Gillian is back in the frame. Feels right.

Barney = William Shatner
