Hello eveybody anybody who lives in USA, Everytime I visit Banana Republic during the christmas time there is this nice song with a girl singing and chanting with the TEMPTATION beat in the back, does anybody know who this song is by, this is the third year in a row I heard and I still can't figure out who it is by, A girl singing/chanting with the Temtation beat in the back, it has a British vide to it also.

while at Old Navy, the music there played a hip/hop tune that had the bass and guitar riffs from Temptation. I was a little pissed off until I thought that NO were receiving cash for this. They need your support

This is quite touching . Thing is you'd never see this in UK, what choir here in blighty would EVER consider covering a New Order song? But it just seems the norm in other countries.It's cheesy and naff but i like it for the fact and even maybe envy the fact that New Order are excepted and liked in other countries enough to be the norm to have a choir/chorus do Temptation

Well that just shows what an utterly, utterly brilliant and beautiful song that is. That it can survive that reinterpretation and actually come out sounding so joyous and life-afirming is fantastic - well done the choir and arranger - the harmonised counterpoint at the end is brilliant. Can we have this as our national anthem, please?

Hey Linus, check out the version of temptation on Moby's album Hotel, this features a female vocal and could be the one you are hearing. It's on itunes America
