Just had to get away from the TV, westlife's final show is on, I think the infighting and public sagging off that new order has resorted to is actually more dignified than the staged bollocks that that shower of shite are doing.
Band splits

All the more reason to turn off the TV! Jools is on later but the lineup doesn't look too promising. As for westlife, who would have thought that Willie Walsh could have come up with a worse band than Boyzone, yet he managed it.
band from ireland called "the revs" had a song about louis walsh but he seems to go on and on and get richer.cant fault his tenacity, though jedward are doing the country hotel circuit at the minute
I find it impossible to distinguish between westlife's songs. One dreary ballad after another.

Willie Walsh? Do you mean to say that former Aer Lingus head honcho and current BA-Terminal-4-disaster-man Willie Walsh also has time to create and manage boybands AND appear as a judge on the x factor? Got to give him kudos for keeping busy!![]()

Bill Walsh became only the second NFL head coach to win three Superbowls, after Chuck Gnoll.
And for the record, bands don't split up because they fall out with one-another (as the music industry hopes you'll all believe), but because there simply isn't any more melodies-chords-chord phrases that haven't been discovered in capacity to the artists' repertoire. ![]()

I just wanted to see was anyone paying attention:) As for Aer Lingus, they lost a bag belonging to me once on a flight from Rome to Cork - a very unpleasant experience, and yet I would still prefer them to Ryanair:evil:
If there is one band we could wish to do a John Denver in a jetplane this year, it would be Westlife.
Then that stops the prospect of them ever reforming again.

coming in from a different angle. I dont like Westlife. I dont like the members or the music (except one song).
but i can acknowledge that they have worked hard to where they are. better them than some of the oxygen thieves we have claiming benefits and sitting on their lard arses doing jack sh*t.
rant over. back to work.

only in so far as to say no one is forced to buy or listen to them. they entertain and give alot of enjoyment to alot of women (so to speak).
at least they are doing something with their lives. theres far worse people out there.
To be honest, that's the most bizarre and out-of-context defence of boy bands I've ever heard.
"At least they're not benefit scroungers"
What next? "At least they aren't out there murdering grannies?" ![]()

On. The country.perfect context. Look at the wider picture.
The thig that gripes me about the way the split is that they hadn't fallen out, there was no "musical differences" there was no death within the band, everything was great but sales had dropped, they weren't making the money they used to, so they split in the most profitable way they could, they were only in it for the money, they may not have been scroungers, but they were parasites!

Sadly I think they will be back in 2 to 3 years, and when that happens they will need a "gimmick" to make anyone take notice and that will be the return of Brian Mc Fadden..In the meantime expect them to turn up on various reality tv shows and also next years Christmas panto season looks promising...
Funny how Hooky always makes a point of pissing on any project that bernard does (electronic,BL) and ive never heard any of the others criticize his side project apart from rightly referring to hookys band now as a tribute band.
No point hoping that people have a bit of dignity and restraint now i suppose.
I like the bit at the end about him being too much of a purist. Complaints about using sequencers when he has rowetta singing vocals for joy division songs, recording them as well.
