A mod will move it (if any ever come here?).
I've got it on audiobook.
Thought it started slowly, but once he got to the point where he was recounting stuff from the TV shows then it was utter genius. Especially loved the spin he gave on the whole Tony Hares 'smell my cheese' incident, and how he come out of the entire debacle looking victorious.
I got the hardback for Xmas, just started reading it the other night.
Looks extremely funny so far, as with pretty much anything from Iannucci, Coogan etc.

Can imagine the audio book version being hilarious, maybe i should have gone for that instead.
Not got as far as the Tony Hares incident yet but i remember it from the tv series . I'm up to where Alan's just made it to the bbc . When he got married to Carol they chose the church because on a previous visit Carol had liked the graveyard and its old world charm and Alan liked it for its ample parking and easy access to junction 5 of the A47 ![]()
