Ah yeah, I remember when that was on.

Electronic (+ a fresh faced Phil Cunningham) played "Haze" on her show the year after as well.

So Phil has played with Electronic, New Order AND Bad Lieutenant??!

Yep, he first appeared on the "NO scene" as a second guitarist in Electronic around the time of Twisted Tenderness. The band never put on any gigs but they did play a number of TV shows in order to promote the album; stuff like Whiley's C4 show, TFI Friday etc. Jimi Goodwin also played bass with Electronic in '96-97 (again for TV appearances) but must have left to concentrate on Doves by '99. Goodwin is listed as having played in the studio on Twisted Tenderness though.

Studio-wise, Phil didn't appear on any Electronic records but did with NO on WFTSC and obviously all of Bad Loot's stuff.

Watched this again on You Toob recently actually. Barney said he's got a house in Stratford Upon Avon? Not that far from me. Didn't know that

Loved watching this at the tender age of 18, Bernard pulling rank on Essex boy Keith! If only Bernard had invested in a navy blue shirt and tie it would have moved mountains... :abovelol: :abovelol: :abovelol:

If anything, this sort of footage just reinforces what I have always suspected about Jo Whiley - and that is, for all her indie schmindie credentials and her celebrated union with fellow indie-plugge Steve Lamacq, she's just a vacuous air-headed pop bint who couldn't put forth a decent discussion or argument about music even if her life depended on it.

Bloody new age hippy - that's what she is through and through.!!!!

 :p  :shades:

I didn't used to mind Jo Whiley at one time but she does my bloody nut in now. Can't stand listening to her for one second. Saw her at Milton Keynes train station a couple of years back. She's tiny. Funny how tv always make people look taller:scratch:

Is she smaller than Toyah?

I met Toyah Wilcox once - she was signing her book at Waterstones in Nottingham one year a long time back and I was there visiting a student mate of mine back in the day before I took up teaching meself..... she was cute, but she lost my respect a bit when I realised she was one of the voices behind The Teletubbies. :)

 :shades:
