Some songs coincide! Do you mean the Deeside one?

I'm sure the answer to this little teaser is contained in the "An Ideal for Living" book if anyone's got it to hand........

Is this bootleg the one with Gillian on the cover? If so, this boot includes portions of three 1982 gigs: Pennies in Norwich (24 May), Palasport in Bologna, Italy (21 Jun) and Sporting Arena in Athens, Greece (19 Sep).

Oh, thank Waterrat's for the above info. :D

I woulda guessed at Athens Arena mesel, but Rocketman has all my tapes.....this was the basic set-list around that time (mix in another 4 or 5 songs)

Ricardo, and Water-Rat, are in fact correct.

I have a booty from '82 with Perth on it. I bought it the States ... a grubby photocopy of the band is stuck on the front with what seems to be a few Thieves numbers on.

What gives? (it's a 12" vinyl album)

The one you're on about Huntsy is just a bogstandard boot of a bogstandard gig at the Old Melbourne Hotel, Perth, on 14/12/82. NOT the three gig compilation Steve has.

The cover that Ricardo referred to is the same one. It did occur to me that it could be culled from several different shows as all the songs are faded out. I'm still confused though, could it still be Perth? And why I am so sad as to be bothered?!!!!

That was my original point Steve ... something doesn't add up.

No, the one you have is definitely the three shows combined together. The Perth gig is one that Huntsman referred to separately, contains different songs altogether.

The Perth 14/12/82 setlist was :

1 Temptation
2 Dreams Never End
3 Chosen Time
4 We All Stand
5 Leave Me Alone
6 586
7 Your Silent Face
8 Blue Monday
9 Age of Consent
10 Ceremony

a bit different to the three-gig compilation that was called "Dreams Never End"

Deeside 82 was in Chester area, not Scotland !
