Agree, though it does kind of mask a semi-serious point - 'Hooky' implies a positive, friendly attitude towards him, do people still feel like they can call him that, if they have changed their opinions of him as a result of the current situation? At what point does he become 'Hook' or 'the old bass player' for those who come to the conclusion that his behaviour and comments warrant a move away from adoration and hero worship?

Of course the opportunity to offend Linus is too tempting for a lot of people! :laugh:

I noticed that peter was called hooky in the argentina show of 2006, where people was singing "oleee ole ole oleeeee hookyyyyyy hookyyyyy" and I said "damn! this audience knows about it!" jajaj, what a lovely memory... ask me again how I noticed of the nickname hooky (?)
