A sensible poll I feel as there is alot of concern out there. It feels like were in limbo and threads activity is minimal.
What happened to the poll for the best New order song? New Order are gigging endlessly but theres not as much mention as I would have expected.
My view would be "Cant we ditch the new forum and keep to this one?"
What does everyone else think?

No, they definitely took away the enjoyment and I can see why you and other mods had had enough and set up an alternative forum. Im not knocking that. Just putting the discussion out there. To see if there's any way we could get this forum running like it use to.
As soneone on another thread said. It's like an old pair of slippers. Comfy and reliable.
Well, I'm evaluating if it's actually worth the time to work on a new version of this website. It's obviously dated, the website is compiled with a 2003 engine.
But I would have to trim it down completely, and code securities, while I don't love the current version, it's been "stable" for 5 years now.
Mainly my goal is to allow more people to post news, because obviously this website needs a little more people to help manage, as I was the only one left doing it and I didn't do it as much over the last years when interest dropped when the group "split".
But it could be a fun project, it'd allow me to use most recent technologies, use social medias and other things, and specially do a graphic revamp because, let's be honest, this one has done its time.
I do have a little lack of motivation when it comes to start doing it, because it's been so slow in the recent years, but then, we get 2000 visitors per day at the moment, it's still fairly active.
