The layout of this new forum is bleargh....
Can't we have the old colour scheme and font settings back?
Maybe more people would come here if it looked a bit classier?

The forums went down because the hard disk on the server hosting it was full and needed cleared.
Don't expect proactive maintenance or improvement of these forums or the wider web site, this is "it" basically.
New Order Online is no longer a priority with its owner and the voluntary moderators have no access to the back end.
The forums are the only "current" version of the web site.
Is there anything, we the great unwashed can do?

Ok thanks for the reply. It is what it is then.
I think it's easier to organize the communication via a Facebook group but, of course, searching past topics won't be that easy. On the other hand, why do we need that weight of long-forgotten and old topics anyway? We all live now; the same questions will be asked over and over again anyway.
I've finally made it!
I had been trying for a number of months to log on, not realising that I had to reregister for the new forums. Great new forums, but it's a shame I can't keep my old joining date (16th June 2004) and posts counter (a modest but quality 785).

I'm still paying from my pocket to keep the site up despite not having done many updates over the years (been 10 years since their last album after all), I gave it a spin this week to make it a little less obsolete, but it's still running on Windows 2003 with a very small amount of hard drive and memory.
So when the database fills the hard drive space I have to manually make room.

It's still a lot of work, over the years I started to update the site about 50 times but everything was just too ambitious and I gave up.
Then blame doing websites for living and a divorce mostly due to the Community 2 competition and you'll understand why the site updates have been low since 2006 :(
Very glad old time members helped keeping it up and warned me when there were issues.
Apologies to all for the recent forums downtime which Spotnick has very kindly resolved.
We hope things should remain stable for a bit longer this time as maintenance has been carried out on the backend server.
NOOL should definitely be up and online for fans to chat and discuss the new album (If it can't be online now then when can it be?)

I keep getting a pink banner pop up telling me "Your message was reject as it was detected as SPAM!" whenever I try to edit a post shortly after making it. Can the webmaster do something to prevent this please?
