What is the longest live song you have ever heard the boys and girls play????
I think for me it is either 586 which in their time they have dragged out for some pretty horrific stretches....or when they encored with do the ostrich at sheffield roxy...
Any special memories good or bad...or even better actual times!!!
Fine Time at the Ally Pally seemed to go on ferever, probably not helped with Bezrick shouting 1999 all the way through it
Temptation was great that night which took us all into the new year, that seemed to go on fer a while
But Blue Monday would probably be the longest, take yer pick from many gigs over the last 9 years.
Funnily enough, I was watching Star Test about half an hour ago, and I think was the question was "What is your nightmare" to which Barney replied.....being booed off stage......after Blue Monday, but it'll never happen"

The 20 min Ultraviolence at Hull 82 is two mins longer than the previous record, which was an 18 min version of EGG at Hamburg 81. Several other tracks have made it into double figures: Perfect Kiss, Blue Monday, Temptation, 586, Sister Ray and Do The Ostrich being the main culprits. There was a while in 84 when they did a segue of 586, EGG and Temptation together that weighed in at 23 mins, but this was three tracks rather than one.
'Sister Ray says I love you' on Glastonbury goes on pretty long (early on, its funny. Five minutes later, it's grating, but it keeps on going)
