  1. Touched by the Hand of God - could be done up nice by a 5 piece.

  2. Run - a chance for Barney to dance and Phil to wonk on his guitar parts.

  3. Leave Me Alone - why not? It would be great.

  4. Broken Promise - again, I think a 5 pice would kill it.

  5. Thieves Like Us - they have done it; I want it. Have always loved it.

And yours????

Picking tracks not played recently:

Vanishing Point - Always powerful live. Mr. Disco - Same as above. Their best dance track? Who decided not to release this as a single? Sub-Culture - More fleshed out, but at the same time more concise than Hurt, they have a similar energy live. Lonesome Tonight - Great combination of what I like about both New Order and Joy Division. Leave Me Alone - Simple, gorgeous, silly and sad all at once. I don't know where it would fit in the set though.

Touched By The Hand Of God must surely be a possibility because they brought back Isolation just liked they played it in 1998.

Your Silent Face--the FINAL song, after LWTUA Hurt--imagine what they can do with this as a 5 piece! Sooner Than You Think--need to add some emotions to the set Primative Notion--something never played live before In A Lonely Place--to start off the encore set

I hope not in the former form. They played it to death during the Get Ready tour season. Live it never sounded as good as the studio IMHO, sort empty with a big thump drumbeat. Perhaps as a 5 piece they could improve it.

Indeed, they fucking ruined that. But then, they do that with a fair few songs. If Touched could come crashing in like it did in the 80s then it would be a welcome addition.

I'd also go for - Subculture Face Up (Barney isn't ever gonna sing that again though, shirley?) The Village and, have to say it, Dreams Never End. Loved that song.

  1. Ultraviolence (This one always sounded fantastic live.)
  2. Broken Promise (I agree that the 5-piece would blow this out of the water.)
  3. Sub-Culture (Probably the most likely to get played off this list.)
  4. Mr. Disco (Yes, please.)
  5. Chemical (I'm just really curious as to how this would go down.)
