New Order's highest US singles chart position.

And relatively 'new' compared to the majority of their set.

And yet it's only had one play in the US so far?

Bit weird, that. Wonder what it's done wrong? 😕

Maybe it's become their new Blue Monday, the one they've played to death and need a break from.

Or maybe Bernard isn't a fan of doing such a high vocal so early on in the show.

That said, I've been listening to the rendition they did at No 6 and it sounds fine, really good.

There's lot's of reasons and they're all over the internet:

  1. Chappy lost the backing tape
  2. Gillian has no musical talent
  3. Hooky hasn't played it lately, and as Chappy dedicates his life to emulating him...
  4. The audience needs a potty break

I'm sure there's more.

Maybe they've forgotten...about it.

Maybe Barney's talking to Hooky on the telephone lately...

Had to make room for more JD tracks. Maybe Bernard's forgotten the lyrics and the chords....
