I've always been fascinated by NO's demos, studio and mixing stories, alternative versions and all that. Love Juice is a song that caught my full curiosity right from the first time I heard it. I really don't believe it's a simple jam. The lyrics were probably made right at the spot, but the instrumentals feel like something that had been worked on before, even if it they didn't bother finishing it. Here are the lyrics that the user "thequicksilver" (the guy who uploaded the song on YT) managed to get:
I saw you walking down the street You saw me, that you have oh such big feet You said I loved you, what is your name? I said you should never utter the Lord's name in vain. You said beauty is what you find it Under your clothes is where they find it

Love is love around the tree For anyone it's just for free

Love is where you find it... When the dreams are good(?).

Love is where you find it...

Love Juice Love Juice Love Juice smells like Stale fish It smells like a three-way!

How many lies can you buy bone...by the pound. When you drop your wad you waste it all around

You tell...love juice is where the free wind blows Love Juice...are where the chicks ears go."

Smell all the beautiful flowers Time wasted in our hours Something of the produced song Definitely from my wonderful song

Love is where you find it Love is the color of blood Love is where we're raging through it And the untied(?) we've lost it Love is through with raging threat with every untied(?) we've lost

Love is where you find it Love is where you find it
Why finish the lyrics, you must be wondering? Well, I'm an amateur musician like many here, and I'd love to be able to record the song in a proper way. Not only as way to improve my skills, but also because I'd like to feel I've paid tribute to the band, a bit like the Community projects and Jed's covers, for example. This is my work-in-progress version; I tried to write in Barney's style:
I saw you walking down the street You told me, that my life was no big feat You said I loved you, what is your name? You said to remember that love is better than fame. That beauty is where you find it Under your tears is where they hide it

Love is the end when you're in peace Do what you do, you know I'm trough

Love is where you find it... When the truth is cruel

Love is where you find it... When you’ve got no clue

Love Juice Love Juice Love Juice feels like A bitter wish It shines like a good day!

How many more lies can you buy by the pound. When you drop your wad you waste it all around You say love juice is where the free wind blows Love Juice...is where your big fears don’t go

Smell all the beautiful flowers Time isn't wasted in our hours Something of the produced song Definitely from my wonderful song

Love is where you find it Love is the color of blood Love is where we're raging through it And the untied(?) we've lost it Love is through with raging threat with every untied(?) we've lost

Love is where you find it Love is where you find it
It would be great if people got together and played different versions of the song or something like that, but I'm not sure it's a project that will gather much interest. Still, I'll be eternally grateful if you guys help me finish the lyrics. [:d]

EDIT: Forgot to put the song here:

First time I've heard this and not bad at all. Very much a product of it's time and shows very much how we miss Steve Morris' frenetic drumming. Strange that New Order would play this once and never again, as it had quite a lot of potential. Would be interesting if a demo was ever recorded - there must be a lot of interesting material from the Factory era which would be much more exciting to hear than Lost Sirens!

It is:

Love Juice = Pearl Jam = Lovin' Spoonful = 10CC = groin gravy = baby batter, etc. All are metaphors for male ejaculate.

Too graphic?
