Well, I'm a non-stop rollercoaster :D

Hehe, nah, seriously, I added a little nice feature to the site, something I did while working for another site, and I just modified it to fit with NewOrderOnline.

Basically it was only for webmaster, but I added something for everyone.

I'm not saying this will be "the" feature you will look often, but..

You can now see who's currently online

Either click on the amount of users online on the front page, or go in the NewOrderOnline menu and select "Users Online"...

Yes, yes yes.. I tought of YOU. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can opt out of this, by clearing the right checkbox in your account settings..

But that should be nice, if one day I find time to finish the chat room, and who knows, instant messaging might be the next step, it would be easy to do so ;)

Pretty cool, now I know if I'm talking to myself or not :D

......like right now, I suppose. Hello? Is anyone there? (Faint rustling of leaves outside, possibly the ax murderer who escaped from the insane asylum earlier, but most likely just my cat)

well done, Spotnick..... ( and thanks, too, for letting me win that GET READY U.S. Advance CD on E-bay.....)

I checked that Online Users.....and there are 16 anonymous users!!!...gee, New Order fans are a secretive lot then...

Well, anonymous might only mean they aren't logged on, or aren't registered.. not necessairly that they unchecked the specific box...

So basically, people loggin on are people visiting the forums..!

As for the advanced promo, I was betting on it, but I was sure it was the "pre-promo" with the different versions, until I noticed it was something I had (well, maybe not the same design, but I have a promo already)...

yeah, great extra thing here...but could you put it in a place that's easier to access? i mean, you'd only care about who's online if you're posting on a message board. other than that, great job nic!:thumb:

Enventually I'll put a status next to the user's name to tell if the person is online or not.

I don't want to put too many bells & whistles everywhere, they tend to slow the site down a little...!

Like said another pop star we like to hate..

Oops, I did it again!

Alright, I just added a new feature while updating the upcoming events system (you might have not noticed, but the "recurring events" were not working since our move, hence why Stephen's birthday is now showing up)..

I tought it would be fun to have some "Éphémérides", I don't know what is the term in english for that, but it's basically "what happened today in New Order's history"...

I will probably find a more decent place for it when I'll have a little more time (today being Canada's thanksgiving, I have some free time to work on the site) but right now you will find it on the History menu.

BTW, just to piss me off, nothing happened on an October 14th... so there isn't a real need to check today, Tomorrow you'll only see the release of "International".. :D

Would be nice to have that instead of the polls on the front page, since I had no time to rebuild the poll system since our move...

This site is getting better.. if anyone knows his way in HTML design and would like to help me "fix" the site into its new design, it would be welcomed, it's a long and painful process, right now, only the main page and the main forum pages are done as you know..

Well, Rome wasn't build in one day!

Thanks for your patience!

Very nice job Nic, well done

One thing you'll have to add, sooner or later, is that on May 2,1989 New Order played the Civic Auditorium in Portland, OR , with support by Throwing Muses. Truly, one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Done, you can go and review it !

Thanks Nic, that was quick. I'll get to it soon.

Thanks, monsieur LeBlanc....but unfortunately that promo wasn't the 'pre-promo' with different versions...it's the basic advance promo with same track listings and times as the commercial release...the only nice bit was the CD comes in a nice mini-LP like cardboard jacket.....

....so, monsieur LeBlanc ...or any other NOOLs, would you be able to help me with a copy of the 'pre-promo' copy with different tracks and times?..I dont mind if it's a CD-R copy version...please help...

I guess Rocket Mick or ShugZV can help you with that, otherwise I'm sure I can arrange something...

Hmm, nice new features. But surely there should be some kind of fanfare and flashing lights when i log in? The world has to know when i am here!! :D

How about calling it "Retrospective".
