It is also the greatest song I've ever heard.

I remember once a friend of mine who is a music/film critic wrote in an article that "How Soon Is Now" was the greatest single of the 1980s. I happened to be listening to "True Faith" that night on my iPod on the train home. When I got off the subway, I immediately called my friend:

Me: "I don't think 'How Soon Is Now' is the greatest single of the 80s."

Friend: "Oh yeah?"

Me: "The best single of the 80s is 'True Faith.'"

Friend: "No, it's not."

Me: "Well I think it is!"

Friend: "'True Faith' is not the greatest single of the 80s... because it is the greatest single of ALL TIME."

My favorite New Order track is a toss up between 'the walk' and 'let's go to bed'.
