The definitive New Order song?

The fact the band has so much variety clearly makes a decision like this more difficult. But if you had to, what would you regard as the definitive New Order song?

I would personally go for Temptation as I think it's the song of theirs that most clearly meshes both the rock and electronic sides of their music. For number two I would probably go with Run, I think it demonstrates their guitar side very well, but also their heavy focus on extended instrumental sections (with the long outro).

Lonesome Tonight or Run.

I know im not being very original with this choice but i say True Faith, it has everything that sums up new order, good lyrics, good individual live instrument parts, great synths and a stylish video.

One of the very few songs that ive never got bored of listening to.

The way I understood, it's not about the best NO song, but rather the one most easily defines the NO sound. I think the definitive songs are the ones that I can't see someone being a NO without liking them at least a bit. When friends ask me about New Order I usually send them links to 3-4 of these songs: Temptation, Regret, Crystal, Round & Round, Turn, Run and Ceremony. Hard to say which one would be the definitive, but Run is a very good pick.

I would say Regret or Temptation, but I cannot fault those citing Run, True Faith or Crystal.

Temptation would probably be a fan's definition. But I guess the general consensus among non-fans would be Blue Monday.

Perfect Kiss or Temptation though Perfect Kiss gets the nod from me cos there's so much more going on, and it's less one-dimensional.

The Perfect Kiss extended version on the 12" single gets my vote

TPK, in the video you can see how basic their equipment was then compared to what can be seen in the recently tweeted pic of them in the studio yet look at what they were able to achieve with it..

Any of the above you have mentioned work for me. But I've recently re-evaluated my feelings about Thieves Like Us which I never particularly cared for. For some reason it now ranks right up there as a classic NO song for me, in all its slightly flawed glory
