I was looking at the setlist for New Order's concert in St. Petersburg this past weekend....

Would this be the longest show they have ever played?

  1. Elegia
  2. Crystal
  3. Regret
  4. Ceremony
  5. Age of Consent
  6. Isolation
  7. Here to Stay
  8. Krafty
  9. Your Silent Face
  10. Run Wild
  11. World
  12. Bizarre Love Triangle
  13. 5 8 6
  14. True Faith
  15. The Perfect Kiss
  16. Blue Monday
  17. Temptation

Encore: 18. Atmosphere 19. Transmission 20. Shadowplay 21. Love Will Tear Us Apart

That's a pretty cracking set too. Yes most of it is the same set that have been playing for the past year...but I think this show and the Moscow show were the first times New Order has ever played in Russia? If I were seeing New Order for the first time, this would be an amazing show.

Nice to see World back and Run Wild is a surprise.

I do wish they would start mixing up Blue Monday when they play it live though, jamming over it and adding extra synth parts and samples as they did in 1989 and 2005-06.

I'd prefer Run to run wild...

Agree, though I do like Run Wild.

I wish they would do Fine Time, a great live track.

The all-JD encore bugs me

Thanks for posting Zac. The night before in Moscow was a pretty similar set with I'll Stay With You between Regret & Ceremony, but no Run Wild or Transmission. But still coming in at a stonking 20 tracks.

The Killers were at the Moscow gig, they played a festival out there the following night.

Nice crew of Vikings out there for these gigs and big thanks to Andrey (Boogie) for invaluable help & support during our stay.

That is some set, cannt think of them ever playing more tacks, few surprises with world and run wild. Barneys seems to be loving playing live at the moment, can't seem to get him off stage

Agree but run wild seems to fit nicely in the above set. Would love them to play vanishing point off technique

Run Wild does fit in nicely, and I think it's a lovely tune. Would sound good with Gillian's live synths.

Also...I do wish they would play Vanishing Point and Fine Time.

Does anyone know of a recording or video of Run Wild in St P?

I checked to see if there was a video. Putting "New Order Russia" into Google yields some, um, interesting results.
