.... is really f*****g cool! you gotta and outta love and respect this record! they have won back my respect.

not really a "mix" album, the tracks are treated with ultmost respect, minimal editing, while the production gives it some flow... very eclectic and unsafe... great mastered sound too...

"i feel love" mix is great, its 25 years old! it is playing with the same ideas years before the acid house and techno scenes.... damn, why was Germany so damn cool musically in the 70s?!

I had a look at the tracklisting in the local HMV the otherweek and was intrigued by the variety of stuff the band put on it.

Dunno about buying it though... mind you, which other bands have issued these Back To Mine compilations? I can think of two - Morcheeba and (I think) Everything but the Girl, but did The Chemical Brothers bring one out? Or it might have been Underworld.

Not sure, but who else here knows anything about which bands got involved in this series?

Orbital released the one prior to NO. Cheeky bleeders put a track of their own on there. Too be honest I dont blame them though.

I reckon if NO had put a track on their own it should have been "Leave me Alone". Would have fitted in nicely with the laid back vibe. Agree / Disagree???

it's good, some interesting choices. most of the other back to mine's have included tracks by the compilers. typical new order - not promoting themselves.

Sure, the cover's something else, but I also find it to be a good collection of tracks (don't know anybody else who'd go from Beefheart to the Scream to Missy). I just find it a bit curious though that since it was released in the US, but the copy I bought was made in the UK, with a US barcode sticker slapped on the disc cover, over the UK one.
