why is there no video collection on DVD for NewOrder? I found this info on the Bjork site...an artist who knows how to please fans....

Pump up the Volumen! On December 2nd, there will be not one, but two releases for Volumen - the video collection. One is the new version of Volumen, the Complete Video Collection covering 1993-2002, a DVD with 21 (yes, twentyone) videos all in all. A package that will retail at £18.99. The second release is for those who already have the previous version of Volumen, and it has the working title of Volumen+, featuring the 7 videos missing from the first version. The 7 videos are, in no particular order: Alarm Call, All Is Full Of Love, Hidden Place, Pagan Poetry, Cocoon, It's In Our Hands and Nature Is Ancient. This DVD will retail at the low price of £9.99. The original, and currently available Volumen, will also have a price reduction to £9.99. That way, people who already have the previously released Volumen can simply add Volumen+ to their current collection at a fair price, as well as offering new fans the opportunity to have the complete set on one disc. Clever ain't it?

is it really so hard to do something like this? plus her new box set is filled with unreleased stuff and i believe comes in 2 versions...one for the hardcore fans who already own all the albums + singles and one of the general public...she also releases live concerts that include the WHOLE SHOW....WOW how revolutionary....NEW ORDER GET IT TOGETHER!!! and see what's happening...please...thank you.

good question. you'd think they'd at least release 'the new order story' on DVD or something...

well, since ET is only being released on DVD this week (i know they didn't have DVDs in 1982, but you know what i mean), maybe we shouldn't hold our collective breath. :D

... with a massive advertising campaign in portuguese TV this week!

About the NO vids: I too think it's a very good idea, and since U2 are about to re-release their videos (zoo tv, popmart, etc) on DVD, NO should at least think about it... I'd be a very happy man if they'd do so. I mean, I have them all, but as I "gave" my VCR to my ex-wife, it's been ages since I saw any of them!

You know, as soon as we start talking about "a DVD video collection", it negates any possibility of it happening.

Seriously, I would give my right arm for such a thing to come to pass. Barney's got another mouth to feed, he needs the money.
