i was going over the salvation demos, and thinking of remastering those, and including them on recycle 2...

these ones:

04.Sputnik (1:49)

05.Skull Crusher (3:42)

however, the touched by the hand of God track sounds almost exactly the same as the one from the soundtrack.

yes, it fades in, but other than some slight dynamic issues (from the recording?)..

i mixed it with the salvation version, and it matches up pretty well, along with a slight BPM change.

anyone know for sure?

listened to the endings, and the outro's are different too.

also noticed that:

04.Sputnik (1:49)

is basically the first 1:49 of the 'salvation' demo.

so it's not really sputnik either, unless someone mixed up the track.

does a real demo of this exist?

finished some cleanup on the tracks.

the salvation demo had an issue around 3:30 that was patched.

• also cleaned up hiss, and hum on them.

will post some samples for those interested.

as far as demos go, there was another vocal version with different lyrics

15 lets go (unreleased original 1985 vocal) 3:57 dig

and the american best of had this version with a non-fading outro

16 lets go (US best of non fade) 4:02 cd
