nice find....as i lose all of my tapes...i havent seen the thieves performance for ages....dodgy jacket and performance..

I am currently going through every video in my collection, and the idea is to get everything in chronological order, at the moment I have most of the stuff written down and how long it lasts, and which video has the best quality.....fuckin nightmare, it'll take a while, but I will get it sorted. Still missing the odd bits and pieces (such as Ruined TOTP) I'm gonna compile a list at work if I get the chance, post it on here, and ask people if they know of stuff that is missing from my list. I have several dates missing as well, I have all the years, but not exact dates. Some absolutely cracking stuff, and if Uncly John is reading, I'll be getting in touch about your vids:D
I recall that TOTP one for Here To Stay - didn't the programmers force them to chop out a whole verse and chorus or something, thus keeping the thing as short as possible in case the audience started getting restless...?

The version played was even shorter than the fookin radio edit....that's fer sure

I think HTS and another nu-metal song that opened the programme were shortened to allow Doves to do the full six minutes odd of "There Goes The Fear" live.
Nah, it was shortened to allow Pulp to sing some f***ing six minute dirge that limped in at No. 29. The sooner that comedy act split up for good the better. Pish.
