Whoah what's with the altered cover for Get Ready? Would have been cool if they'd re done the WFTSC cover to have the girl in the river photo like they'd originally planned for that album i'd have bought it then but i already have the vinyl for WFTSC.Get Ready and Republic are the only two original NO albums i don't have on vinyl so it'll be good to finally get them.

That GR cover looks awful :/

Sirens is pricey too but all these albums are worth getting as they are pretty scarce especially GR!

I agree about the alteration to Get Ready's sleeve, maybe it's a sticker on the shrinkwrap.

Singles as well - on 4xLP 180g vinyl... As well as a 2xCD collection - both released in October :)

Luckily I have Republic, get ready and wftsc on vinyl so kpjust the singles box set for me. Very expensive autumn for new order fans what with gigs and all these releases. As a vinyl collector I would like, for completion, the release of all the cd only b sides get a vinyl release, there are quite a few of these particularly from the get ready era

Excellent. An original Get Ready on LP is damn pricey.

I just noticed that the 2015 remastered LPs listed on Amazon have a reported September 25 release date - the same release date as "Music Complete." I wonder how that will play out?

There aren't any current plans, probably next year. This is a vinyl only thing for now.

The vinyl editions don't seem to be fully available yet either. As of this morning Juno still lists them as "Forthcoming" with no album art and you have to really search on Amazon UK to bring anything back. I'm going to pop over to Rough Trade East at lunchtime to see if they have any stock (and also to pick up Music Complete on CD) but I'm beginning to get the impression that these have been delayed. Unless anyone knows differently? Regardless, I'll ask at Rough Trade and see what they say.

They seem to have been slow to send them out, they may turn up at shops later today, if not then it could be Monday.

That's also true of deliveries of Music Complete too, some were only sent out yesterday.

I found the three vinyl rereleases today in a Viennese record shop. No glossy finish parts on the artwork as the original pressings, but looking good. And "get ready" now has a printed inner sleeve! I want that for my original copy too!

I have bought the three re-issues on vinyl. Sirens has definitely been improved compared to the lousy 2005 CD - you can hear Hooky's bass on Turn for example…

Republic looks good to my hears too, but i cannot compare with the original vinyl.

Get Ready is a complete disaster: volume is so low on the vinyl that you need to push volume really up to hear anything… And when you hear anything the sound is muddy and unclear… I wonder if it's an issue with my copy or a general screw up… Has anyone else listened to the new vinyls?

Oh and by the way - only crappy MP3 versions with the 3 releases, not even the 2015 remastered, with Dynamic Ranges from 6 to 8. Forget about these….

Have cancelled my order with amazon.com of the Get Ready and Republic vinyls and re ordered with amazon.co.uk so saving on heavy shipping cost.Except although it said these were released on 25th Sept now i've purchased them it says i won't receive them til mid October grrrr... I was hoping they'd ship immediately and i'd receive them in the next couple of days as i'll be at home and wouldn't have to traipse to the post office to pick up the missed delivery.Was immediately offered the free MP3 download of both albums after completing my purchase but when i go to the download page and select the tracks and hit download the page just freezes and nothing happens 😕 😕

Yeah, bizarre that the MP3 versions are the non-remastered versions - I could have just ripped the CDs! 🙄

They offered these to shops at really short notice (Mon 21st), no promotion but you must order today to get them by the 25th. I guess lots of shops missed out.

The Get Ready MP3s I got from the vinyl download sound broadly the same as the original 2001 CD. I compared both how they sounded via headphones and how the waveforms looked in Audacity to a FLAC copy I have of the original disc. A mate who nabbed the Republic reissue sent me a copy of the MP3s and I've compared a couple of them to both the original 1993 CD/2015 Qobuz remaster. The Republic MP3s are weird; some of them (World, Ruined In A Day & Chemical) match the original 1993 CD both in terms of sound and waveform. Others like Regret are actually louder than the 2015 Remaster FLAC I got from Qobuz and resemble something closer to the 2005 Singles compilation. At any rate they're not consistent across the set.

Er yeah, I thought the Republic MP3 download was going to be identical to what I got off Qobuz which is actually a consistent, nice sounding remaster.

And did you have a chance to listen to the vinyls? How does your Get Ready copy sounds?

Had an email from Amazon saying they will despatch my order for Get Ready and Republic vinyls earlier than originally stated.New estimated arrival date is 5th Oct rather than 15th to 19th Oct .So that's good news

You don't get all the stuff that was with the original Republic CD.Get Ready's inner sleeve artwork is less also.Still, at least they have some artwork on the inner sleeve and not just a blank white paper inner.Guess you just have to accept the Republic inner artwork for example only works with a CD booklet.No big deal.

Get Ready didn't have an inner sleeve originally. Republic's is the same as the original.

Most of the albums are now appearing on iTunes as Mastered for iTunes. I'd suspect these are the new remasters, although there's no specific (2015 remastered version) tags like some of the other download stores. Also noticed that NO's Substance has disappeared from sale on iTunes, would make sense for that to be re-released in the near future if the second discs of the last reissues haven't been included in this latest catalogue remastering.

I was listening to the new 2015 remastered version of Technique today and noticed that there's an audio glitch on the second track "All the Way." It happens right at 2:51. It sounds like the tape is being warped for a split second. The mp3s I have were purchased from Amazon.com.

Is there anyone I should contact to somehow have this fixed? Even the official New Order YouTube channel just a put the album up for streaming and the glitch is present there as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Eu8sKgeBN8

I emailed Rhino's website about the new glitch on All the Way, so hopefully they look into it.

Finally got round today to playing the vinyls of Republic and Get Ready i received a couple of weeks ago as had been trying to get round to buying a new stylus.Stylus popped through the letterbox today.Yeah both albums sounding good- can hear stuff on Republic i'd never picked up on before.Got lost in this thread about what's been remastered and what hasn't but if one or both of them hasn't then i could have Amazon under the trade descriptions act as the sticker on the front of both of them says "features 2015 remaster" (Doesn't specify if it's the vinyl or mp3).Or is it just the vinyl versions that have been remastered and not the mp3 (haven't downloaded them yet) or vice versa?

Still getting frequent crackles even though it's brand new vinyl played with a brand new stylus.Bane of my life that shit.

I've listened to the new 2015 version of Republic (digital download) and noticed a lot of new little things as well. All of the new 2015 remasters seem to have heavy stereo emphasis added, so a lot of those subtle stereo sounds (such as Gillian's keyboard and the drum reverb) cut through the mix better. They did a good job with theses and so far I've only noticed that one error on Technique. The previous glitch on "The Him" and dropout on "Sunrise" from the 2007 versions have both been fixed.

Republic seems the far superior vinyl .My copy of Get Ready is unfathomably for a brand new vinyl full of crackles and pops though if i can listen past that it's ok ish.Republic is crystal clear.Listening even on headphones i could almost be listening to the CD or mp3.Really rich sound on the bass and , well, everything really.And it's pretty fucking loud

Except i like Get Ready as an album more than Republic.Revisiting songs like Turn My Way, 60MPH and Vicious Streak was good.Unlike many others i always really liked Turn My Way.Was never a fan of Corgan but i think his vocal really gels with the song.Vicious Streak is a great underrated track.

Got Get Ready yesterday on vinyl. Put it on directly after another record - Blonde on Blonde - and had to crank the volume considerably. Is it a quiet pressing or is Bob a bit more rambunctious than I thought?

Convinced now GR is a horrible pressing. Very quiet while at the same time crackly. WFTSC seems better in comparison.

Next time, Get Ready will need to be split over two records.

I guess you can treat this pressing as a re-run of the original, including the original flaws (and adding an inner sleeve).

Kind of glad in a way Get Ready is a bad pressing.Thought it was just my bad luck or a problem with my stylus.

Anyone else hear a tiny weird little noise just before the start of every track on both Get Ready and Republic vinyl? It's a quiet little kind of squeak that lasts just a second or so though i only really hear it on headphones.

that's a shame to hear (I would have loved Get Ready on vinyl) but I guess we should have expected it after they continued to squeeze the album onto a single disc.

Thank you Moderne. I had bought the 'regular' DD before your comment. After your comment, I relented and bought both Technique and Republic remasters. I don't think I can be bothered with the others just yet.
