I'd be surprised if even the Sun would mis-quote Bernard that blatantly. It's not gonna sell extra papers. Also I have to say that their music pages are the one part of that paper that are pretty good. They don't just cover mainstream pop stuff but quite a broad range. If you didn't know it was The Sun you probably wouldn't think it was the Sun (ifyouknowwhatImean).

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure I read a review of a festival where bad loo and hook were both on,I remember reading hook was in the crowd watching bl so maybe that's where it happened?

Can everyone stop banging on about Hooky rejoining the band? Never going to happen, and such talk is boring. Yes, they worked well together musically. But they don't anymore. Get over it. Besides unless Bernard writes a song called "I'm a complete twat and was wrong, I'm sorry Hooky, have a large cheque" I doubt Hooky will play on it!

Hook is history - which is something he seems quite happy to peddle, as it happens.

He was a fucking hero once but that seems like a lifetime ago & I don't want him anywhere near Neworder ever again.
