She got a lot of abuse prior to this, but she sounds great and works really well with bernard. someone who knows more about the technical aspect of music might know, but there vocal styles seem to merge really well

please release tutti frutti as next single

Apart from the pressure to perform live, which she'd probably not enjoy, I don't get why we don't hear Gillian sing more often or at all. She's got a fine pop voice...would love to hear her trade verses with Barney.

Yeah she said her vocals weren't good enough. It looks like they're going to be doing another album, I reckon they should give her another chance. I like Gillian's voice on O2, even if it's imperfect.

They've said they wrote all the tracks on Music Complete with playing them live in mind, so maybe that was a factor in the decision. I can imagine even more freedom on the next album.

If they want to invite guests in to give the listeners a brief break from Bernard's voice then why not use Gillian?

Though with that said, we haven't heard her sing in a long time, who knows how her voice is these days. To be honest I can't imagine it being that bad.

As much as I do like Gillian's voice on the O2 stuff, I am quite happy for them to make their own minds up TBH.

I like all the guest & backing vocals use on MC.

I have to say, whilst Bernard was never technically a good singer, it didn't stop him becoming my favourite singer in next to no time (c/f the wonderful Subculture Record Mirror mix.)
