Interestingly, he puts in a couple of votes for the Drop It poll. I disagree with him about Thieves Like Us. Although it's a great track, I much prefer it's b-side live.
Thieves Like Us is a fantastic track, and heard on college radio, got me into New Order ----
But Lonesome Tonight is totally fucking epic and testament to Hooky Bass. What a fantastic song. Pretty ballsy for New New Order to play it, considering how much of a Hooky tune it is.
New Order gonna start playing Monaco live?
They return with the funeral march of Atmosphere leading into the sunset of rock’s now most predictable encore, as Love Will Tear Us Apart and Blue Monday compete for Song You Least Need To Ever Hear Again.
Hard not to agree with that! Drop LWTUA and move Blue Monday to somewhere surprising.
Kind of disappointed that they have gone back to playing the same set EVERY night with the only difference being which song they DON'T play
I can't find it now, but didn't someone post a setlist from the tour rehearsals? I'm sure that had more songs on it than the 19 they are churning out

I believe it was just notes for the tracks she's performed on since rejoining. Not necessarily ones being rehearsed for this tour.

Ah OK
do you know where it was? I was trying to find the thread where it was discussed but couldn't spot it

From Gillian's Twitter.
I don't like this same set every night business either but i wasn't really expecting anything else. The only thing i do agree with Hooky on is the lack of variety with the old tracks. You'd have thought EGG for example would fit in perfectly right now or Vanishing Point?!! There are so many to choose from. Do they really think that everyone wants to hear Blue Monday every time?! Maybe the new fans do (pleased that there are some btw) but so many of us have witnessed a similar set featuring True Faith/Temptation/Blue Monday/LWTUA/BLT (all classics but this time i would have even preferred Academic or Unlearn This Hated instead. Temptation and maybe TF deserve to be played at each gig, oh ok BLT as well, they just have too many songs i want to hear! I'll shut up now.

Someone did shout 'Academic' at Liverpool and Bernard said 'we need to have rehearsed it'
