I really hope they play Tutti Frutti and not an oldie like True Faith or Blue Monday (shudder). Perhaps they may even play the next single? Were it a normal TFI show I'd say a current track would be a dead cert but the New Years Eveyness of it all means anything goes.

At the end of last nights show one of the guests, Gaby Roslin, read out a list of who will be on the new year's eve show and among them she said "New Order featuring La Roux" .So i guess it will be Tutti Frutti.Be nice they did a couple of songs though.

I shall be recording the programme tonight (will be out when it's on) and will upload to YouTube tomorrow New Order's performance.That is of course if those miserable bastards at WMG don't get it blocked/removed.

New Order just did the "It's your letter" slot on TFI now, I couldn't help but think that there was a time when they would have met a request to do something like that with a curt F**k off, how times have changed.

Tutti Frutti on now anyway.

Watching with a hangover today the recording of TFI Friday, ugh, bleeurghh.Not the best NO tv performance but it could of been worse and could of been better.Notable only and will probably only remembered for the fact of Gillian actually dancing, alright ,slightly moving, behind the keyboard.The clip was a bit better on second viewing.

Anyway,here yer go, for our overseas friends who may like to see it i chucked it on YouTube.I'm off now to chuck my hungover guts up.Happy New Year.

The buggers.But it does still play on my phone, maybe try it on yours? It's been removed from my YouTube channel page by YouTube but before it was removed someone commented on and when i received a notification of the comment and clicked the clip was playable so try here edit: Nope, that doesn't play either.But it does play if i'm signed in to YouTube😕 Weird.

I've changed the Tutti Frutti clip to private setting so you may be able to watch it here edit: Looks like you have to have a YouTube account to view private .Whatever, i'm going to bed.

you're supposed to make it "unlisted" if you want it to only be visible to people with a link. the private setting means only the uploader can see it.

Ah so that's the way to do it.Many thanks , i've changed the setting now to unlisted and will bear that in mind for future.

edit: Nope it's still saying the videos are blocked.Ah well.I uploaded a live music clip from another Channel 4 show a few weeks ago and i've had no problems with that so at an utter loss as to understand why the TFI Friday clips are blocked and that one wasn't.

Tee hee… Gotta make allowances it is the TFI ever so slightly happy clappy environment after all. Nothing wrong with that of course, though I find a little goes a loooooooooong way.

Hooray! At least my efforts weren't a total waste of time [:)] But yeah, it wasn't one of NO's better tv appearances but i don't know , it wasn't that bad but then it wasn't that good either- kind of so so really.All in all the Tutti Frutti single campaign doesn't feel like it's been very successful in terms of reaching a wider audience than the fanbase.Maybe a video might have helped.I heard the single edit on the radio a few times and it didn't transmit marvellously if i'm honest.The edit could of been better.The one highlight of the campaign has been the Hot Chip remix.Still, onwards and upwards in 2016 with the good ship New Order.

1
