i wonder why they promote hook's gigs😕

They could be just being nice.... But I think it's legal reasons. They need to show Hooky is not in the band, so he can't sue them for trying to profit on him. The same reason Tom is front and centre on the promo pics and why they always say the band member names on everything. Their lawyers are covering their butts.

It used to say on it that the page is run by Warner Brothers, so I would imagine it's nothing to do with the above post & something more along the lines of WB not wanting to get caught up in the middle of the argument.

So they also give Hook the odd post on the page to appease him, seeing as he did contribute to the band/brand for over 25 years and is at least some part of the reason why the page has so many likes in the first place. I think as long as the remaining members continue to trade as New Order then it's only fair that the page communicates what Hook is up to also. Just my 2 cents.
