Any word on New Order recording a new album?

One word NO.
Per Hooky's book Barnard like X to do one thing at a time. At the moment it's playing live and doing the 'specials' for Manchester festival.
Personally I feel there will be one more but not until 2019 at the earliest.
Yeah I also think that there will be one more NO album but not for another 2 or 3 years. NO always keeps us waiting.
I'm happy looking forward to MIF17 & hopefully a nice recording of the gig(s).

This summer NO will pay homage to the innocents massacred and fulfill some special event obligations .Then months for family, and writing and recording .By Autumn or early Winter 2018 will be 18 or 19 new songs, 11 of which will form a release December 2018. Another release will follow in 2020, plus a live release of 35 songs. Ian and Will are touring this summer so get some echo and bunnymen in your hearts and minds ,bodies and souls.
