Does that mean it'll be available through the red button as it directs to a BBC website?

This is good news. For anyone who hasn't been to one of the shows, you're in for a treat. Superb stuff.

Hope someone who's a bit more technically minded than me can capture the streams and share. Hint, Hint. 😊

Ive got an MP4 version of it for the time being until they release it on DVD ;0), if anyone wants it. The gig was just as I remember it from 2 weeks ago. Although shame they didn't broadcast the encore....or the start for that matter.

Cool, cheers for the heads up Chris.Managed to catch it live though it was on headphones on my iphone as i wasn't at home.I'm sure someone will have captured it and it'll be up on YouTube sometime.

While i was trying to get the stream playing at around 9.10 pm a brief second audio of In A Lonely Place live came/slipped through.

Some great extra flourishes to a lot of the songs, especially SubCulture , even some new elements to the seemingly endlessly updated BLT live, and Vanishing Point though bizarrely some new keyboard part towards the end of that one reminded me of Turn Back The Clock by Johnny Hates Jazz.

Shame the beeb ended the stream before the encore but hey ho.

In A Lonely Place? Really?

Damn. Would love to have heard that. Wasn't played at any of the previous MIF gigs.

Think the last time they played it was Manchester Apollo July 1998.So not like it's the first time since the 80s but even 1998 seems a long time ago these days, yikes.

I hope that these new treatments are recorded, and released on CD . The consensus is that everything is fabulous, and there is a lot of it . Maybe these will have a release , then new songs soon after that

I was at the Apollo when they played In A Lonely Place. That was one of my favourite New Order moments. Brilliant track.

So far they appear to be varying track 1 (Elegia / Times Change) and track 6 (Behing Closed Doors / Heart & Soul / In A Lonely Place).

Someone's posted a capture of last night's BBC web stream on YouTube: (don't think it's official or BBC):

Disappointed that the Beeb didn't include any of the guitar driven tracks (can't believe IALP was excluded) Instead we got Guilt, BLT and Plastic which are well worn.

That said, Shellshock, Sub-Culture and Vanishing Point were brilliant. As per. The amount of effort that went into the Sub-Culture programming paid off.

Really hoping they do a proper live album of this.

Wow! They were amazing, they sounded great. Really enjoy the way they did Shellshock, Guilt and Vanishing Point especially. Definitely wouldn't mind a live album from these shows.

Wasn't there a quick blurb about a recording or video to be released at some point later?
