Yeah I know this's been done before but it's fun for punters... Fine Time - Wazz Fine Line - McCartney Liar - Sex Pistols Disappointed - PIL Young Offender - Pet Shop Boys Ceremony - The Cunt Temptation - Heaven 17 Blue Monday - Fats Domino Any more?

Fine Time - Cast Hurt - Nine Inch Nails Leave Me Alone - Michael Jackson Sabotage - The Beastie Boys Tutti Frutti - Little Richard Paradise - Coldplay (apparently; I've never heard of it) (Are You) Lonesome Tonight(?) - Elvis (at a stretch)
Could we include 'The Age Of Consent', the LP by Bronski Beat? I suppose, if we're making up the rules, we surely can.
And how could I forget my ex? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlxmyhNLwnU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPcAeydoUT4

Really? You've done well to avoid that one!
Someone beat me to Run by Snow Patrol. I would also add:
Denial - I Break Horses Brotherhood - Chemical Brothers (Best Of album) CHEMICAL - Chemical Brothers Ecstacy - Fiasco, and a few others too. This one is of course a house track. Sunrise - Simply Red Weirdo - The Charlatans Vanishing Point - Primal Scream (album) Someone Like You - Adele Movement - LCD Soundsystem Confusion - Horace Andy Too Late - Junior There was an artist called True Faith who had a big house tune called Take Me Away which you probably know even if you think you don't. Regret - Everything Everything Restless - UNKLE Restless - JX Spooky - Lush
Louise Redknapp recently had a comeback single called Hurt.
Think Pulp did a song called Sunrise.

Hmm. You're correct. I have heard it. Just subjected myself to a clip on YouTube.
Didn't know that track was called 'Paradise'.
Dear me. That's possibly even blander than the rip-off they did of 'Computer Love' (whatever that was called).

Jeff Lynne refused my gift of feathers. He said, Don't bring me down. Paul Young. LWTUA. Tee hee.
Did anyone mention Junk (McCartney), Weirdo (Charlatans), Sunrise (trad - arr.)? Trad - Arr is my favorite singer, after Anon.
Getting silly but I couldn't resist. Breakdown - Grace Jones Movin' On - Blur and almost Yoko Get ready - Clapton LowLife - PIL Tender - Blur Isolation - Lennon Cloud 9 - George Harrison Dark Angel - Centigradz (household name) I've got a feeling - Beatles, Monaco
Dear Michael, Mel C was on that Desert Island Discs programme the other day. She sounds nice, still. Thought of you.
The proudest moments of my life (and this tells you a lot about my life) was when we were about to do a show and it was tense and nervous cos no one knew anyone else and the stage always freaks you out... Then this Yankee looks at me and goes, 'HEY - you're the guy that jerks off to Mel C, right?'
perspexorange wrote: You dated her as well?
She was obviously on the rebound... ;-)
And... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eE0a6tK6AJI PS Hello (Other Splooge) - Adele, Lionel Prickie
Let's Go - The Cars Fine Line - The Cars (cheating, I know, using the name of the remix, but it still works).
It was McCartney's Fine Line that gave me the idea. Divine, Shake It up. George Harrison, Microbes.
Look what coronavirus and teetotalism are doing to me... Love you to, Beatles, almost a Revenge mix Big Bang, Fuzzbox Shine, Take Twat New Religion, Geri Denying, Spice Girls neeeaaarly Something so beautiful, Emma Bumtone, almost Monaco Sink or swim, Lewis Watson Reality, David Bowie
Teetotalism, Michael? I know this Coronavirus calls for desperate measures, but not that desperate, surely? 😉
Shine - Aswad
And how could I forget Russ Abbott, Atmosphere? I can't help feeling he lost the pathos of the Joy Division original.
Vampire Weekend had a track on their second LP called Run. It's actually really good. It doesn't sound like the Technique track but does have retro-sounding percolating synths and Ooh, ooh's reminiscent of Temptation...
Cloud 9, Jamiroquai. The great thing about Jamiroquai is he always changes image, sound, even logo. How does he do it? What's his secret? I guess we'll never know.

My Lord! Could that sound any more 80s if it tried?
Good spot. Pretty awful, but I appreciate the effort in finding this.
Great video! ![]()
I preferred Wanna get Physical. John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in maths class. They're multiplyin'.
There's also a track on George Harrison's first 'proper' album 'All things Must Pass' 'Wah-Wah', which was an early Electronic title, possibly for Reality.
My Beatles obsession is so bad I'm now buying Ringo albums. In fact it's got beyond that - I'm listening to the shit too. Anyway, there's a song Runaways on Time Takes Time, which is almost Bad Lieutenant. I need to get out more.
Ringo, I'm The Greatest - RAM (Pottsy but he played it live with Hooky) https://www.setlist.fm/setlists/monaco-6bd6ae7e.html And of course Ram is Macca's secondo album. And Pottsy looks a bit like Lennon. And both Ringo and The Otherwise Two are total fucking shit. It all links.
Hey MM, a good buddy has gotten hold of some official Beatles memorabilia from the old Yugoslavian fan club that existed in the 60s and 70s, signed pics, letters, Christmas single and stuff, do you have any idea how much it may be worth? Top condition too.
(his English is awful so he sent me to investigate, he's the same guy noone probably remembers who was selling the NO Sirens stamp a decade ago)

So Be A Rebel sounds like Coldplay, and Coldplay have song titles the same as NO's. It's becoming difficult to differentiate between the two.
Coldplay also used on their first couple of albums covers the same font as NO’s Ceremony sleeve. What’s the name of that font?

Jack.
