Could be anything, probably Blue Bastard Monday. Describing the tracks as 'exclusive' makes them sound like new songs when it just means 'exclusive to this CD we've cobbled together as it's not currently on any other cobbled-together-CD'.
In 1997 my personal favourite was Exclusive Spice Girls interview. Like no one else could get a word out of them. The J D Salingers of pop.

I see in a Google search the gig was filmed for a DVD release. Looks like a fairly typical/standard setlist from recent gigs really, apart from rare appearances from 'Love Vigilantes' and 'Academic': https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/new-order/2018/alexandra-palace-london-england-1397b58d.html.
I'm more or less a completist (at least for every unique track/mix, but not every different format), but I'd actually have to think twice about buying this as these songs and/or arrangements have featured on several live releases in the last decade or so. I suppose it's a while since we had a live DVD release though.

According to MOJO New Order are releasing ANOTHER live album "Education Entertainment Recreation" live at Alexandra Palace. A track "Atmosphere" is on the free CD with this month's issue.

Enough with These LIVE albums, Even as a DIE HARD fan , I don't think I will buy it or give my money to them, they have release like 5 Live albums in a row, How about something NEW

I'd love the 'So it goes...' live performance video footage too. Seems a shame to only release that on CD as it looked so unique.
Yeah. I'd love the 'So It Goes...' footage to be released.
However, I'm also very pleased that we may get an Ally Pally DVD (or a CD at least). Good news indeed.
PS I'd love it if they decided to bundle in Ally Pally '98 as a 'double-bill'. I think the gig was filmed, as I seem to recall brief footage on one of the NO DVDs (511 or 316, can't remember). Really enjoyed that gig, but missed the last two or three songs due to my wife (who never normally goes to gigs) feeling faint. Bah! ;-)
It’d be pretty surreal To bundle so it goes... or the decades doc with the Alexandra palace gig, since the more natural pairing would be with the MiF audio release. I’m assuming some kind of weird rights issue prevented the video being released and the audio only MiF was a compromise because the quality of what made it into a decades was excellent. But who knows hehe
I should remember to check bootlegs and see if there’s any interesting songs or takes to complement the MiF CD

No weird rights issue, they just didn't film it all. The whole event cost so much to put on it would have added even more cost.

Footage was shot in 1998, but it's unedited and stored somewhere (hopefully).

Well, it's a trifle disappointing it isn't a DVD, but I'll take what's given. Just happy to get new NO product.
It feels like there's been been quite a lot of live CDs in the last decade. I know there hasn't really (if you take a band like Killing Joke, for instance, they seem to release about three live LPs a year). It's probably just that at least three of these (four if you count the forthcoming one) include pretty similar sets. MiF release excepted. They're also are all from the new incarnation of the band, rather than the classic line up.
I'm not averse to live LPs, but it would be nice for the band to delve into the pre-reform era. I guess that generates its own set of problems though. There's just so many classic 80s / 90s gigs out there which would be wonderful to release.
Still, as I say, I'm happy that something's on the horizon.
I'm really just waiting on that PC&L announcement. Please say it's imminent, Johnny James... :-)

Who says there isn't a DVD?
PCL is signed off and parts are being manufactured. You'll have to wait for Warners to announce.

Get yer own fucking ctachphrase. I'm not a fan of these endless rehashes either, but no one forces you to buy anything you don't '''''need'''''. Being a (vinyl) completist made sense in the Factory days cos it was doable and the releases tended to be worthwhile and involve the actual band, even the compilations and mixes. There's no point collecting these days (see what etc) because there have been so many pointless rehashes (International, Best of JD 08, RIAD CD 2 etc) and YouTube is such a free for all anyway. Incidentally, if you'd like an example of decent repackaging, try the McCartney Archives. You get three options (four if you fucking hate McCartney):
- The original album remastered but otherwise left well alone.
- 1 plus a CD of 'surrounding' tracks - Bsides, demos, etc.
- A lavish, individually numbered de luxe set featuring 2 plus a further CD (rarer material), a DVD (appearances, docs, private footage), a book (not a fucking booklet), links to hidden downloads, and of course the kitchen sink. Unlike my mother, it doesn't come for free, but (like my mother) you get what you pay for. Oh, and I love the way indie snobs rip the shit out of Spice for having no talent - then get a boner every time that total spaz Bez staggers around like an epileptic. Talent.
If it was one of the Miami shows they were planning to release as a live album, I could kind of understand why they were doing it but no, there is no need to release them all as a box set to cover all the songs the played) but after Troxy, Bestival, NOMC and So It Goes being released as live albums in less than a 10 year gap there is no need to bring out any more live albums recorded in the last 10 years, they're all pretty much the same setlist with just a change of 'hilarious banter' from Mr. Sumner to liven them up. Would be nice to think we might get some amazing numbers played next year when this years shows are rescheduled that get recorded but I doubt it.
