Favorite New Order Album

1)PCL - subvertive, naive (ish), dark and light, pioneering & experimental with some classic NO arrangements (The village, YSF, ecstasy). Artwork TOTALLY complements the musical content. This album encapsulates TOTALLY to me what NO were all about - a treasured secret band which you wanted all to your self (selfish i know!)...but at the same time you wanted to convert all your friends to (fascist tendencies!)

2. Movement is a vastly underrated album with atmospheric and brooding arrangements - Truth has to be one of the most sinister sounding synth/rock songs ever...yes it has serious undertones but I regard this as an important and neccessary album for NO to make to put JD to rest. I still play it...

3. I re-listened to Technique last night. I never rated this album when it came out but I do like it now. Things always seem to sound better years later...nostalgia

TECHNIQUE! That;s the album that sealed my New Order fate for good. Plus when they toured the states for that was when I had seen them for the first time...I thought I had seen god!

Clearly I'll go with Low-life .... just something that resonates in me with this album....from the brilliant 'Sunrise' to the devious 'Face-Up'. I love the whole thing through and through
