Anyone remember this?

If so, any ideas what issue date of MM it was released with?

Odd, I used to buy Melody Maker most weeks around that time and had done since the mid 80s but I’ve no recollection at all of this.

I’ve got one, but picked it up at a record fair in the early 90s.

I have a feeling it was attached to the front of the newspaper, rather than inside. But I may be mistaken.

Think it was 1989.

Think I have this...can send it to you if you want. I binned 1000s of New Order related mags several years ago but kept this. Never knew how I had got it. 😎

I’m gonna call your 1989 and raise you a 1990.

Text in the article implies Technique being out for a while and namechecks some gigs back half of the year. No mention of WIM however, so that puts it earlier 1990.

Excellent! Many thanks for this!

I swore I searched everywhere for this. I need to go back to 'how to trawl the internet' school. I obviously missed a couple of lessons.

Thanks once again!

My pleasure! 😊

However, I will point out that they aren’t my scans. I’m not sure where I picked these up from. Got ‘em a few years back.

My copy of the magazine is still at my mum’s house, safely tucked away. Has been for close to 30 years or so.
