They've been writing, recording, and performing for 44 years.

I don't want or expect anything new at this point. They've earned it. I'm just happy they still enjoy touring.

Well the “latest” live incarnation of Temptation is now nearly 10 years old. First rolled out at the September 2011 gigs. Though to be fair Steve does say “latest” , not “new”. Hard to see how any even newer incarnation could ever improve on the current version .Unless they recreated say the version on the Taras vid from the New York 1981 gig. That’s still the best for me.

I would say it's about time to cut out the Street Hassle bits and up the ante on the 1982 style percolating arpeggios.

Bound to happen. I quite liked what they did with True Faith on the Bestival CD, but the Perfecto mash-up is older than an Italian politician. I'm amazed they've made so much out of so little.
