Just thought that this might be of interest.
I've been trying to find a copy of this for years, with no luck. Found a copy a couple of days ago. I had a transcript, but really nice to see the actual article.
First mention of Bernard, Hooky, Terry and 'Wroey', as 'Stiff Kittens' in the music press.
This was a full five months before their live debut and does add a little bit of weight to the possibility that they did refer to themselves as 'Stiff Kittens' at some point (supposedly the name was coined by Richard Boon, Pete Shelley and/or Howard Devoto and the band never liked or used the name).
