Some truly terrible pieces, by the way...

Yes this Hyperbeast article popped up on my phone this morning. It incudes stuff that doesn't seem to be on the website such as the Low Life Tee (not bad actually), the Technique stuff, the 1989 US concert Tee and Substance.

Looking at the Regret button-down shirt, it's £99 and made of... rayon! UGH!! NO thanks.

These tie-ins are gonna keep coming now aren't they? As regular as Hooky interviews after he left NO and bitched about "the others" every week...

I'd wear that Low-life tee but the other stuff is trash. Whoever designed it doesn't have a very good grasp of graphic design, they're just hoping the Saville images sell themselves.

This made me laugh, so ta for that! :-)

In response to even more merchandise:

"Where will it end? Where will it end?"

My eyes are burning.

I'm going to have nightmares about that BM '88 shirt chasing me across an abandoned field.

Jesus.

This goes back to a comment I made on a previous thread. I really wish the band etc. exercised some sort of control over this sort of thing. These particular pieces of merchandise are pretty shoddy and, in my opinion, damages the brand.

Saying that, I imagine that anyone who saw one of these in the street would probably think that they are 'bootlegs' anyway.

At one end of the spectrum, we have the Selfridges stuff at £500 or whatever. At the other end we have this. (*) I guess at least the Selfridges stuff looked pretty decent (massively overpriced as they are).

I hate being negative but, really, there's very little positives to take from this. All in my opinion, of course.

(*) Edit - I missed the items on the second link previously. There's some fairly reasonable stuff there. The Low Life & Technique related stuff. Wonder why they aren't on the manufacturer's website. Most of the stuff on the website is just that terrible PC&L design.
