Apologies if these are well known, but I'd not heard them before and I collect as many NO remixes as I can

Hot Tracks DMC Series 4 Issue 7 1985 https://gofile.io/d/oHrz1p

Features Perfect Kiss Remix by Mark "Hot Rod" Trollan 11:35 https://www.discogs.com/Various-Series-4-Issue-7/release/1236060

DMC - Best of Epics 1990 https://gofile.io/d/jpRHPb

Features Blue Monday Re-Ordered by Dakeyne 9:52 https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Best-Of-Epics/release/330744

NB the Blue Monday mix is a grim mashup of all sorts of crap almost like a Jive Bunny affair

Many thanks for these. Very decent of you.

I did know about both of the mixes and actually already have a copy of the BM mix as mp3.

However, as regards TPK, I used to have this on cassette, but don't have it digitally. Been ages since I heard it and it sounds pretty reasonable. A cross between TPK and TKOD, with a few other bits thrown in, (including a touch of the live video version around the 10:00-10:30 mark, I think). Really nice to get this. Ta!

Back in the day, I tried to log all of these 'DJ only' remixes on a spreadsheet. There's a whole Hell of a lot of them (my spreadsheet got to 73 of them before I got bored and gave up).

Most of them are probably fairly dull, but there are a few decent ones, if I remember correctly.

On a similar note, did anyone manage to snag copies of those additional 'Sub-Culture' Razormaid mixes that turned up a couple of years back? Also, does anyone have the 8:40 version of the Hot Tracks mix of BLT? I used to have this on tape too, but not got digitally. Would be nice to get.

I have a Hot Tracks mix of BLT but it's 7:48 - I guess that's not the one you mean

I have two Sub-Culture Razormaid remixes - called v2.0 and v3.0 8:31 and 6:56 respectively Those the ones you're after?

Most of us know it and most of us hate it. I know I do.

Just google Soundcloud Ripper or Soundcloud Downloader. Copy and paste the URL for the particular upload into the Soundcloud Downloader website and it'll give you an MP3. Might not be the highest fedelity, but for these tracks, I don't think that matters.

Thank you, I will try.

The notes on that Discogs page in your link say: "Blue Moday" (DJ only club mix) is the same as the (Dub Version) on the 12' UK promo vinyl. Which suggests it isn't a DMC mix. It is perhaps track 3 here?

Is this it?

Sounds familiar. To be honest it's been fucking years and I'm not obsessive enough any more. Definitely in that vein though.

I think that a few of these DJ remixes got edited when they were released on the 'Substance Abuse' bootleg. Not sure if they were just edited for that compilation by the compiler, or edited by the original DJ, issued on a different release and the compiler took those edited versions for use on 'Substance Abuse'. I suspect the former. There were shorter edits of:

Blue Monday (Re-Ordered) (7:12 instead of 9:53); The Perfect Kiss (Hot Tracks) (8:55 instead of 11:35); 5-8-6 (Razormaid) (5:26 instead of 5:41); Sub-Culture (Razormaid - Deborah Iyall version (8:31 instead of 9:33) Bizarre Love Triangle (Hot Tracks) (7:49 instead of 8:40) Touched By The Hand Of God (5:40 instead of 6:43) Fine Time (Prime Cuts 'Made To Order') (5:54 instead of 7:15)

Didn't know this. Thanks. I'll make a note.

I think there were 3 x Razormaid remixes of 'Sub-Culture' that were released at the time. All three made it onto the 'In Hindsight' compilation.

Then a couple of years back, Joseph Watt mentioned that there were another couple of remixes done at the same time but had remained in the vault. He then posted them to SoundCloud. Those were the two I was referring to.

Yep - that's them. Thanks for posting. Saves me trying to find them.

I'll give that a go. Cheers!

It works better than the Chrome/FFox extensions I've tried before.[:)]

It tells me the files are corrupted on Windows and Android. Are you sure the RAR files are OK?

They worked for me, but I'm on Mac.
