Just seen this on local BBC Midland News. Apparently it’s been The Tower since 2005 but it was announced in summer 2021 it’s to be demolished. The venue hosted I think 3 great New Order gigs in the 80s. I was at the 1986 one though I had to leave before the end which was painful! Was a great night though. RIP The Tower Ballroom.
