This one might be for the local old timers who attended the CoManChe in the early 80s. Student Union at the Mcr Polytechnic. Does anyone know which hall it was and if it still exists as there has been substantial rebuilding in that part of town?

I actually have a ticket for this gig in my collection.
Not mine sadly (I'd have been 8 years old and playing with Lego), but it belonged to a very good friend of mine, who kindly gave me his ticket, along with ones for The Ritz 26/10/81 and Kentish Town 06/05/81.
Here's an image showing them:

As you can see, it doesn't mention the hall, but does mention 'The Wednesday Club' and 'Hathersage Road', if that helps.
I should be seeing my mate in a few weeks. I'll ask him if he remembers and update here, if he does.
Thanks! Yes I think it was Hathersage Rd but most of that has been rebuilt as student accomodation. See what your friend says - cheers.
Hathersage Rd was also the home of Victoria Baths where OSM filmed 808 State/Gerald and Tony Wilson larking about in the pool..
I think the entire building has been recently demolished.
I'm not entirely sure but I think it might have been this: https://goo.gl/maps/Em3HECTJBRH5UAyD6 (Google Maps in 2016, change the dates to see the space that's there now).

Still is! Victoria Baths is very much un-demolished, been to a few events there in recent years

Thanks. Yes I think that is where it was but couldn't remember.
I sent an email to my friend, asking him about this. Sadly, he doesn't have any clear recollections of it (after all, it's over 40 years ago).
But he did do some digging and his research may help jog yours or others memories, should you wish to look into this in more detail. I'll PM you his findings.
PS I'm incredibly envious of anyone who went to this gig. Would've been awesome.

Excellent! If in doubt, give Perspex a shout. I'd have like to have been at this one too.
