Was gig at Oxford Apollo on 27th March 1986 Filmed?

I seem to remember that on stage there was a video camera (on a tripod) pointed at the band throughout the gig. Just wondered if anyone else remembers seeing this, and as such, if the gig was indeed actually filmed? Thanks very much for any info.

Well, a few years back, I compiled a list of gigs that were filmed. This included ones where footage has been released and also ones which have some degree of speculation (people remembering cameras being present, much like your recollection for this gig).

I didn’t have this gig listed, so this is the first I’ve heard about it.

Johnny James, who posts here, will likely know whether this is in the NO archive. Hopefully, he’ll post here and let you know.

Which 80s gig did Bez get up on stage with the band ? I believe he got up on stage ay the Alexandra Palace event New Year's Eve 98 for Fine Time ( i wasn't there) but which gig or gigs in the 80s did he also do so? Thanks

The photo on my profile pic was taken by Darren Grub (many thanks) at Malvern Winter Gardens, UK on the 3rd October 1986.
Happy Mondays were the support band and they also went on stage with New Order for their final song of the night, a cover of Sister Ray (Velvet Underground).

I don't know who has this video if it was done. It seems Alan Wise made a mention of a camera crew on his introduction that night, so it sounds like it did happen.
