...regarding Retro.

I see from what you've both posted elsewhere that Barney has had some input into the finished product. Did the rest of the band have any say, and if so how much?

I'd sort of got the impression that it was all down to Pickering et al.

Barney has the most "control" over the project though that's probably because he cares more than the others.

The choices made by the those named on the discs were all approved by Barney after some minor changes (not so minor in one case)

What's the sound quality of the live stuff like?

It's pretty varied as the source for each recording is different - some of it is soundboard, some a-dat & some audience I believe.

Have they done any studio shenanigans or tinkering with the sound from the original sources?
