yeah, a mistake probably...they are located right next to a couple duffers! a slip of the mouse perhaps.
Im not a huge rap for PCL, all good emperimental sutff but many of the actual songs dont stand up. The top songs are Age of Consent, 586, Your Silent Face and of course Leave Me Alone.
We All Stand is the weakest, but absolutely brilliant live on the Pumped Full of Drugs video. But on the album its stunted. As The Village is ok, Ultraviolence, average, Ecstacy is good but overall it doesn't quite get there.
In my opinion, its inferior to all but Movement and perhaps Republic. And to think its the only New Order album to get NME album of the year.
Cheers ALEX
There are no weak spots on "PC&L"! I REALLY can't see the point in slagging "We all stand"! Is it just because it's so different a tune in the whole New Order-output or what? Bet you all don't like "Elegia" either, aren't ya?! The true weak spots of New Order remain all these lousy remixes!! The person who suggested them to do remixes of finished songs should be punished by life-long imprisonment!
alright, what's next: the worst secne in citizen kane? i went w/ 586 as live versions, peel session and prime 586 are much better. this is new order's most experimental and as such disjointed album and we all stand is just part of what makes it so. hell, listen to sm's drumming. where else in their catalogue is there a rim shot? here, 586 sounds like "which song can we make sound like blue monday?"
I think 'We All Stand' is actually their worst song full stop. I can't believe that somebody actually voted for leave me alone though!!??
I feel like falling down...not only did it make the album but it was bloody 2nd as well.... a true tragedy
I feel so vindicated by the results of this poll! We All Stand is one of the few New Order tracks that I immediately skip over. It's not even a case of "We All can't wait for the song to finish".. I don't even bother!
Cheers :)

I can only pity those who voted for We All Stand on the basis that they had only heard the weak recorded version. It was fookin' brilliant live (as evidenced by PFD) - it had an extra dimension that they never put on record. Same with Ultraviolence - totally mindblowing live, uninspiring on record.
PC&L is the first really New Order album in my opinion, when they definitely take a different direction and Bernard seems to feel more comfortable as vocalist, with his own style. If we consider this, PC&L is the most important NO album.
