...you'll have saved a bit of money - I didn't because I don't have a credit card and I therefore couldn't take advantage of the opportunity. If you're one of those people tell us how many copies you bought (anyone buy one to listen to and one to keep sealed?) and how much you saved (especially if you are from outside the UK) and we can get a rough idea of how much money HMV lost (and if any posters work in a record shop and are prepared to tell us the dealer price of Retro we can work it out more precisely). If enough of you have saved enough money on Retro you could club together and build something with the money such as a nightclub in Manchester - anyone got any ideas for what we could call it?

Furthermore, if you're one of those people here are a few ideas for what you can do with the money you've saved:

If you've got young relatives buy them an extra little present such as a cuddly toy. If you've got a pet buy it something to play with or something it particularly likes to eat. If it's turning wintery in the part of the world where you live and you've got a garden or a window box that wild birds or animals visit buy a packet of something for them to eat and put some of it out when it gets cold and more out when it gets even colder. If some homeless people in the part of the world where you live try to make a living selling magazines such as The Big Issue buy it, buy it more often or give them a bit more money. Alternatively, you could save the money and if in future anyone asks Nic and everyone else involved in this brilliant website for more money for hosting the site you can then contribute the money you saved on Retro to helping keep this site going.

Whatever you do with the money you've saved, be it any of those things, giving it to any other good causes (suggestions would be welcome) or having a good time (suggestions would be welcome because I wouldn't know a good time if it stood in front of me dancing) have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Yours, Fingers :xmas: The Socialist Republic of Lapland

The weird thing is that I preordered mine for 16.99, and the email they sent me says I'm being charged for 14.46. This keeps getting better and better...
